An exquisite amethyst ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era!?Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this fabulous piece holds a large, faceted, oval shaped amethyst stone at its?center. Surrounding?the stone is a delicate twisted rope border paired with a natural seed pearl outer border, both resting inside of a colorful enameled border featuring?swirls of rich black, gold, and gorgeous green hues. Measurements:?The ring has a finger size 7?but could easily be resized.?The centerpiece measures about 1" wide, 1 1/4" tall, and rests 5/8" above the finger when worn.?
Condition:?The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold?setting. The?amethyst stone and all of the pearls are intact and securely set. There is some very minor surface wear to the enameling, however, it is not noticeable when worn and does distract from the overall beauty of the ring.?
